His feelings were visceral. He said they had a belief that if dogs were beaten, tortured and terrorized before cruelly killing them, their meat would taste better and make men more potent. <br />No. This is not a myth. I wish it were.<br />It's dying out hopefully, but it took the loathing of the outside world to do it. Europe has mostly had to learn its own lessons. The English had a reputation for being kind to animals dating way back. They make a diesel engine that's three stories high. Korea built a massive industrial infrastructure in a country with essentially no natural resources.
