None. T...With pit bulls there is no room for error. None. They have immense jaw strength and are extremely tenacious. I once saw a photo essay wherein a pit bull who belonged to a homeless person who lived at a park, would jump up and grab onto a tree branch and hang from it for hours. During dog fights, pit bulls sometimes will fall asleep still attached to each other, wake up and continue fighting. I read of a large African-American guy, at the turn of the century, who, basically, hammer threw 2 dogs who were attached by their mouths, to try and get them to release each other, and though he flung them a good long way, they remained attached. Those factors are enough to exclude pit bulls from making good family pets. Dogs are naturally jealous creatures.
