Or he found a fridge full of legitimately donated tissue. They probably fired him for something other than discovering a criminal conspiracy or bad apple. <br /><br />That said, it is <i>possible</i> that he stumbled on evidence of crime. It's not as if he claimed the hospital put a radio in his head, was selling bodies to space aliens or something obviously nonsense. Disgruntled former employees are more likely to make something up, but gruntled current employees have strong incentives not to go to the cops/feds over actual malfeasance. It makes sense that the cops/feds took his claim seriously enough to investigate, found no evidence, and wrote him off as a loon.
