Man, does the fact that a high score on the CPI indicates low levels of perceived corruption ever confuse me. Wonder why they do it that way? I mean, it even caused Steve to say there's an inverse relationship between corruption and consanguinity, a major 'say what?', but of course, he meant between consanguinity and the CPI. But still...
It's also a big problem in Europe. Many Indian and muslim youths import their partners from their home country.
ReplyDeleteA very high part of these partners have been 1st cousins. It's especially common in Germany and Britain.
