Obama disowns pastor, church, black community, and white grandmother

The AP reports:

At an appearance this morning, Barack Obama made some rather cryptic remarks, which aides attributed to an overly tight necktie:

"As you may recall, in March, during the initial controversy over Rev. Wright, I told the nation, 'I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother ...'

"Then, in April, I disowned him.

"On the last day of May, after being betrayed by my new pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ, Otis Moss III, I disowned my church.

"Now, in June, I've realized that, why, yes, I can disown the black community. Sure, you were a big help when I was a small man, but now you're more trouble than you're worth.

"That's it, I'm out of here. I'm not black anymore.

"To be fair, now that I've disowned Rev. Wright and the black race, I'm also disowning my white grandmother. I've always resented you, you tight-assed bitch. So, you're gone too."

"By the way, my black grandmother? I'm disowning her also. She's not actually my grandmother. She was just one of my grandfather's other polygamous wives. It's complicated. And I don't do complicated anymore. So, bye-bye, don't let the doorknob hit you on the way out."

"Oh, yeah, now that I'm disowning Trinity United Church of Christ, I'm disowning Christ too. I was just going through the motions for the votes. But now I've got the nomination wrapped up and the Republicans have no more chance of winning than the Prohibition Party. So, adios Jesus.

"You may be wondering what I do believe in.

"Fate. My fate.

"And what ethnicity am I now?

"Let's just say: I used to be a Person of Color but now I'm a Man of Destiny."

  1. Does this mean if the wife messes up, he'll disown her? Does this mean Michelle doesn't get to be First Lady?

  2. Steve, what's this really from? I checked The Onion and, nope, not from there. Of course it's not from the AP. Did you write it? If so, bravo!

  3. Prediction: you are going to see more and more so-called "neo-cons" come out of the Marxist closet and support Obama in the coming months.

Even some of the most loyal Bushies are remarkably sensitive about any criticism of the Dem candidate.

  4. I understand where you're coming from, but I also think this is a pretty merciless, no-possible-win interpretation of Obama's actions. A few months ago you were calling for Obama to leave his radical church; credit where credit's due.

  5. Obama's ethnicity is "American".

After 2050, anyone who is not as sufficiently diversified as Saint Obama will no longer be considered an American. Any white racist bigot who has a problem with that can drop dead.

(This is the official Obama Wing of the Democratic Party's position. Google for "So long white boy".)

  6. Steve Sailer: Obama disowns...

You know, getting away from the satire for a moment, if you look at this seriously, then it's precisely what you would expect from a man who experienced the childhood that Obama experienced.

There's a theme I tried to develop in this thread [see for instance page two] which posits that those of us who experienced relatively normal childhoods have no earthly idea what it might be like to have grown up in these weirdo, bizarre, kooky, disfunctional Leftist non-families.

We know that Obama Jr had already been abandoned by his father, Obama Sr, just a few short months after he was born:

Obama's mother known here as "uncommon"

    seattletimes.nwsource.com

...By 1962, Dunham had returned to Seattle as a single mother, enrolling in the UW for spring quarter and living in an apartment on Capitol Hill...

For that matter, we don't really have any evidence that Obama Sr stayed around long enough to witness Jr's birth, in August of 1961.

Compare that famous picture of a young Obama Jr, desperately clutching Obama Sr's hand in the airport, the only [documented] time he ever met father:

    JPEG: chicagotribune.com

And we know that, subsequent to being abandoned by his father, Obama Jr was then abandoned by his MOTHER, Stanley Ann Dunham - who preferred her UN/NGO work in Pakistan and her anthropological investigations of peasant blacksmithing in Indonesia to raising her own children [compare a recent confession of Rebecca Walker, abandoned by her mother, Alice Walker: How my mother's fanatical views tore us apart].

In Obama Jr, we have a man who was abandoned by both his father and his mother - both his father and his mother DISOWNED him - so abandonment and disowning is all that Obama Jr ever knew as a child.

Is it any surprise, then, that Obama Jr would grow up to be the kind of man who would disown, at the drop of a hat, any possible ally of his [not to mention his maternal grandmother - the only adult who ever behaved responsibly towards him when he was a child]?

The acorn does not fall far from the tree.

And if you pursue this theme - of acorns and trees - to its logical conclusion, then you quickly realize that the progeny of a marxist polygamist drunk and a kooky doe-eyed Beat-era sex-obsessed proto-Hippy - a progeny who is deeply scarred by all the horrible emotional baggage bequeathed to him by these two nutjobs - is not exactly the kind of person you want with his finger on the button controlling 5000+ nuclear weapons.

The press reports have Obama saying that he and Michelle will decide on a new house of worship in January.

Wonder if it'll be a mosque?

I know you're being facetious but the fact is Obama was never a Christian. That's why no other church membership was possible for him excepting maybe the Nation of Islam. I'm fascinated by the vertible hornet's nest of Marxist/Liberation theologians being revealed as a result of Obama's presidential campaign. It seems they don't have defense mechanisms once they are no longer operating in obscurity. Unfortunately, the relative lack of reaction means that such operatives have been very successful at infiltrating our religious institutions and warping minds. Twenty years ago there would've been outrage now there's mostly confusion.

Still, I think Obama's game theory is off here. Maybe 20 years of Marxist indoctrination will allow people to vote for him without blinking, then again, maybe the ugly beast has revealed itself before the brainwashing was complete. My take is that Obama has irrevocably damaged his campaign as well as his future prospects by disowning his most prominent supporters. He should've remained loyal to his people rather than trying to evade the consequences by feigning outrage. Neither Jesse Jackson nor Al Sharpton would have made this mistake.

But we still want him to win, right?

  12. Is it April 1 already? Hee hee.

While he's disowning, presumably BHO will also disown ...

"... my wife, Michele. Sorry, babe. Back when I needed to be black, you were great - you have the angry black woman thing down really well. However, now that I've decided to be a member of my very own race of one, your attitude just pisses me off. Maybe you should see an orthopedist about that chip on your shoulder. Let me know how that turns out. Otherwise, sayonara, sweetheart. (Yeah, I'm disowning Asians, too. They never liked me anyway, and, now that I don't need their paltry few votes, they can collectively go screw themselves ... which would make a pretty interesting movie, if you get my drift, as I'm sure Sen. McCain does.)"

  13. Well, Senator Pajama's upbringing may mean that he's a very funny fish, but compared to the Kennedys, or Nixon, or Clinton, is he really so messed-up?

  14. All joking aside, money says the Dems are, as of this moment, a 62.6% favourite to win in November, with Obama a 90%+ favorite to win the Dem nomination already built into the equation. I trust money far more than I trust pundits.

  17. There is real rage building in the Democratic Party towards Obama. That rage will have spread across the country by November.

I watched Obama on tv giving a speech in South Dakota today. I watched with a completely different perspective than last year when he was still plausibly "a different kind of candidate". The man now positively reeks of hypocrisy.

His sycophants will stay with him to the end, but the rest of the voters will yell F*** Y** before this is done. Geraldine Ferraro and the New York city liberal lady that went ballistic on the youtube videos are the canaries in the coalmine.

Obama is a slick Marxist, an America-hater, and a pathological liar. The backlash against this degenerate "Messiah" has only just begun.

Ferraro is very interesting in that she is demonstrating an Italian-American white identity towards Obama. The Italians are famous for their "reality-based" assessments of blacks. I don't believe any high-profile Democratic Party WASP would do what Ferraro is doing. Ferraro does it because she is, at her core, Italian-American, and therefore doesn't accept the Columbus, Mayflower, Plymouth Rock, African Slavery guilt trip that is imposed on American WASPs by the Marxists.

I saw Geraldine Ferraro on tv today and she is again calling a spade a spade. She refuses to back down and she refuses to be Mau-Mau-ed by these Black Liberation Theology gangsters - and she will emerge from this campaign a heroine.

  18. " and she will emerge from this campaign a heroine."

Helping McCain or H.Clinton get elected makes one a hero nowadays? Wow, the bar has been lowered, I miss the days when that little blonde chick who got captured by the Iraquis was a hero, at least she was in custody for a half-hour.

  19. The article on Alice Walker and her daughter linked above is excellent.

Obama is the Nowhere Man candidate. Makes sense all the support he gets from whiterpeople, who are also Nowhere Men and Women. Kind of unfortunate and sad, in a way.

How about a candidate who believes in the Constitution?

  20. Regarding intrade.com:

No doubt, there can be a certain wisdom in markets, but investors have been known to pick losers that they thought were "sure things."

Same with Obama. The geeks who trade on intrade are reading the MSM tea leaves right now. Big mistake. They should short sell Obama stock. It's only going to go down between now and the day after the election.

    Racist!

  22. They should short sell Obama stock. It's only going to go down between now and the day after the election.

For John F-ing McCain? This is the guy who just switched positions again and proclaimed that "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" would be a top priority of a McCain administration.

I go back and forth on the matter, but more and more I'm hoping for an Obama victory because he's the only real chance we have to get Congress back in 2010. With McCain even that's unlikely.

From the Alice Walker article Lucius linked to: My mother would always do what she wanted - for example taking off to Greece for two months in the summer, leaving me with relatives when I was a teenager. Is that independent, or just plain selfish?

It's neither independent not selfish - it's parasitic.

Ron Paul was nuked by the MSM neocons long ago.

Remember, the Constitution is an old, impractical, fuddy-duddy document that gets in the way of racial and social justice, and protection from Islamofascists. Only kooks, Islamofascist symps, antisemites, and other Reds babble about "the Constitution."

As GWB said, "It's just a g----d piece of paper."

    Restrictions on government? Horrors!

    Protection from government? Horrors!

What kind of subversive are you, poor richard? Government is God: our protector, meal ticket, and rightful master. Obey. God bless America!

(Also remember that the idea of personal freedom is nullified by the fact that the original Constitution counted slaves as four-fifths of a person. Out with the Constitution! EVERYONE should be counted as a slave!)

  24. David, that GWB "quote", which I've seen variously attributed to Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld, was made up from whole cloth by a lefty blogger.

As Moynihan once said, "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."

    ReplyDelete
  25. Once he's done with us, will he disown America? Thank goodness he can't just sell it to China and skip town. You can't put anything past the man.
I only joke because the idea of him in office is so scary. We've seen what he's done with regular loopholes. Bush laid so many precendents for legal loopholes, it's just one of those things you can't really even add up the possible damage until it happens, I guess.
He already hates the Internet that people can get the information they want. What happens when a ruthless smart thug gets the power to monitor everyone.
