ReplyDeleteIncidentally, dog showing is another competition being ruined by gay men and their female friends. Dogs are being bred for the aesthetics of the show ring, with no thought to the personality and intelligence traits needed for the breeds' specialized tasks. I read a quote from a K-9 officer the other day that they go to European breeders for their dogs.
And while I'm on this free associative rant, women's athletics appear to have come full circle: women athletes must literally give up part of their womanhood in order to compete. They have body fat levels at 2% and lower, they have no breasts, they do not menstruate, and chances are they will never be able to have children. Ain't equality great?

There are some disadvantages to having manly feet. Last year in Berkeley a semi-somnolent hippie woke up as I walked bay, pointed at me and screamed "You have big feet". And in high school my nickname was Yeti.
Anon mentioned dog showing. The BBC has just shown a devastating documentary on the dog show world's breeding practices that is causing it (the BBC) to review its coverage of Cruft's, the world's largest dog show.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the link; it addresses the problem succinctly. Dog shows are freakish beauty pageants by people (gays and women) obsessed with aesthetics. German Shepherd gaits are being ruined just to give us those sloped backs that are apparently all the rage now. Form over function rather than form following function.
I'm in over my head at this point, but it also appears that the breeders are obsessed with line breeding and refuse to do sound crosses with different lines. As I recall, the kennel clubs also follow the philistine practice of refusing to recognize offspring sired thru artificial insemination.
