Steve Sailer will be on WABC-NY, at 10:30 Eastern, 7:30 Pacific on Tuesday evening (i.e., now), talking about America’s Half-Blood Prince Barack Obama’s “Story Of Race And Inheritance”. Click here to listen live.

I'm wondering when that radio station will stop advertising and put you on. I tuned in 28 minutes ago. Since then it has been one ad after another! You should have started at 7:30. It's 7:50 now. I'm giving up.
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem and also gave up. I concluded the ads couldn't possibly have been the actual feed. It looks like the host puts his shows up for future download though, so hopefully I can check it out tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI really could care less about Obama's supposed racialism or racial agenda or whatever (as Steve Sailer asserts.) So far, as far as I can tell, Obama is not pursuing any racial agenda. At least I haven't seen sign or proof of it. However, this what has happened to me on a personal level, since Obama has come into the office:
ReplyDeleteI've been underemployed since last year. (P.S. I have a Master in Economics, a somewhat rare degree.) It's been a struggle, working for lousy wages and exploitative employers who've been taking advantage of the economic downturn to squeeze employees, while watching my limited savings dwindle and looking for jobs in the economic holocaust at the same time. This is not just happening to me.
Many in my circle of friends -- all who are fairly well-educated -- are all facing various degrees of hardship, and most are angry at Bush and Republicans.
I've finally found a good-paying job. It pays around $5000 every two weeks. I've just received my first paycheck.
The company I've just started working for is expanding and hiring. That's amazing in this economic climate, huh? So what does my company do? Wait for it.... they assess and improve the energy efficiency of homes!
My company has started hiring because the company president said in a meeting that he knows the company will receive part of the stimulus money. The company is are based out of San Gatos, California, and has been in business for over 20 years. It has just expanded into Southern California. It's one of the "energy efficiency" companies has just recently expanded to Southern California, and all those companies are planning to hire and expand. (I met new hires who jumped over from other similar companies because my company paid better; and they told me those other companies are also hiring because they will be getting their cuts of the stimulus money as well.)
Personally, I don't particularly believe in energy efficiency, global warming or saving the planet. But hey, a job is job, and it's a great job. I've been underemployed and under financial stress for too long. Right now I'm just happy that I've finally found something. I suppose I have Obama and his stimulus bill to thank for.
In my first company meeting, the president of the company told us to refer our friends to the company because we are hiring. If I refer a friend who gets hired, I'll even get a sizable referral bonus! The president seems optimistic because he's getting the stimulus money. And I'm certainly happy and VERY VERY thankful because I have a job that pays well.
So, at least on a personal level, I know that the stimulus is working... for me and my friends (whom I'm about to refer into the business.) For me personally, the stimulus has created jobs, for me and my friends.
i had the same problem fwiw.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible you could archive your radio interviews somewhere?
ReplyDeleteCongrats. WABC probably has more listeners than any talk radio station in the country.
ReplyDeleteMissed it. Archived?
ReplyDeleteOT, are you part of a cult, Sailer? The HBD'ers or something like? Cause I can't make heads nor tails of you people. You have strange obsessions and proselytize ruthlessly.
ReplyDeleteSame here, except I closed the stream (I listened online) after 15 minutes. In the end it was just another reminder of why I stopped listening to almost all commercial radio years ago. Here the ads were particularly insipid and offensive.
ReplyDeleteIt's still a Democrat versus Republican thing for your friends, Round Peg?
ReplyDeleteBush didn't abandon his bankers and Barry isn't going to abandon his bankers either.
Bush saved bankers by writing them a $700B check last year. Barry is saving All the Little People's Mortgages by writing the bankers a second $700B check this year.
Eleven Democrats (5 black) and one Republican are now sponsoring a zero-down-mortgage-loans-for-poor-minorities bill in the House of Representatives.
I see no difference between them, son.
Tell them to read DoctorHousingBubble.com for an education. As a 20-something fellow working economist you will appreciate his detailed analysis.
Finally, be careful. That "energy assessment" stuff is one of the first WPA/welfare programs to be cut when the economy stabilizes.
I remember those utility guys wandering around with their IR hand-held meters doing "free [aka taxpayer-funded] energy assessments" in the early 80s for a while when college kids needed jobs, too.
Round Peg:
ReplyDeleteCan't you see that you're just another slavering over manna that
the wealth-extractors mulct from the productive for the benefit of their clients/voter blocs?
Whether you recognize it or not, the elderly greeter in WalMart, the guy tending the Friolator in
MacDonald's, and even the illegal alien mowing a lawn for $10/hr (especially if not getting welfare state bennies) are all performing jobs more worthy of respect than yours.
Just think--a little more testosterone and you mighta taken a nice bit of swag out of one of those boiler room jobs and started your own business/con instead of
pimping for one.
ReplyDeleteKeep your resume up to date, because you are riding another bubble that will be liquidated in its turn when the funny-money runs out.
--Senor Doug
Round Peg just pointed us to ground zero of the next bubble.
ReplyDeleteI guess you have to have a Masters in Economics to be too stupid to see Obama's racial rearrangement of the US.
In Germany there are also lots of alternate energy companies making windmills, conducting energy studies (like Round Peg seems to do) and other shit which the taxpayer is forced to pay for via a levy on the price of electricity. Eventually all this crap will be challenged by market forces because even the government with a pistol to the taxpayer's head cannot beat the market in the long term. I'm just pissed off to see all my Euros being plastered into those windmill monstrosities and bio fuel fermenters which eventually will scar the landscape and cost me demolition as well. Btw, bio fermenters have already received the ax from the German government which is getting nervous about the market downturns and basically knows that the alternate energy circus is a hoax. My guess is that as we get poorer, the green tech which cannot pay for itself will fly out the window. It’s a SWPL luxury meant to paper over the real issues which need dealing with but which SWPL types are too timid to tackle. I wish there would be a way to make Greens personally pay for their policy mistakes.
I, too, would like an archive of these radio interviews. We just don't get enough warning about them beforehand.
ReplyDeleteSliwa has the show available for download on WABC's site, so I got to catch it today. It's too bad he cut you off when you were just getting going on a thought. I agree with posters in prior radio threads that shorter, meatier soundbites are necessary. All in all, good job!
