Call him prescient about Tamerlan and Djohar Tsarnaev

A commenter on my blog wrote in the middle of last night:
I'm writing from within yards of where the shootout in Watertown happened. I was just getting to sleep when I heard hundreds of rounds fired in bursts, single shot, staccato, at least three different calibres from the sounds and also what sounded like grenades or IEDs (maybe pipebombs). I will say that Watertown is home to many Muslim immigrants, most of whom are great neighbors and fine people. But I've heard teenage punks sound off late at night in trhe local 24 hour store about Jihad, I suspect mostly to epater le kafir. But I'm now leaning to the conclusion that a couple of these punks may have become over-intoxicated by their own rhetoric and caused all the havoc of the past five days. I agree with other posters that the MSM and feds have done everything in their power to pin this on a couple of white, right-wing loons yet to be found (white Islamics, white Hispanics, WTF). But to my eye the suspects' pictures look a lot like many of my muslim neighbors from various parts of the Balkans, Levant, and Middle East. Color me prescient if I'm right. Call me a hateful right-wing, racist loon if I'm wrong.

It turns out the terrorists are Chechen refugees who lived in Cambridge, next door to Watertown. (It will be interesting to see how the Harvard/MIT academics react.)

"Balkans, Levant, and Middle East" -- the Caucasus is like those places squared, just bursting with Diversity.

By the way, here's my 2010 review in Taki's Magazine of the quite relevant British comedy Four Lions.

  1. The news is dredging up a bunch of old school acquaintances who, without exception, are surprised that someone so nice and normal would do such a thing.

I'd like to know the surnames of these acquaintances. Somehow I don't think a bunch of Irish/Italian Cambridge people are going to describe a guy who has Islamic clerical lectures liked on his Russian Facebook as "normal."

  2. Isn't all of Russia bursting with diversity? The Slavic people are formed of Central European remnants, mixed with a Asian and Middle Eastern tribes. The Chechens may be slightly more middle eastern than the norm, but for Russia, they're par for the course.

  3. So why did it happen? Answer:the passage of the 1965 Immigration Reform Act and the lack of a National Origins Immigration Policy that completely excluded Muslims. But oh no, we can't do that, because it would have meant that White Americans would have remained a 90 percent demographic majority. The open intent of post-1965 immigration policy is to reduce White Americans-very rapidly-to a racial minority. An occasional terrorist attack by young Muslim yuuts is the price we have to pay for the blessing of being a racial minority in the nation were we used to a 90 percent racial majority. There is no other point to post-1965 immigration policy.

Yep. Martha Raddatz (now THAT's an aging hag!) is burbling on about how no one can understand why such nice normal young men would do such an awful beastly thing.

Nice normal guys with names like Djokar and Tamerlan?

  5. Steve, this is getting near hog heaven for you. Immigration angles, Muslim Caucasian guys, jackass liberals openly praying for them to be as white as possible. Now all this guy's gotta do is escape onto a golf course and take a celebrity lesbian hostage. Then the cops can find a manifesto with theories about IQ in his house.

  6. Or, to put it another way:no muslims on US soil...no 9/11 and no 4/15. So why is the point of importing Muslims the legal way?Obvious answer:to make Native Born White Americans a racial minority as rapidly as possible. Think about this:the aunts, uncles, and cousins of these two muslim yuuts very likley voted this past November third to make Native Born White Americans a racial minority..and it would not have made a difference if they voted for Romney or the Kenyan Foereigner.

It's kind of funny how my obsessions eventually turn into national news.

  8. The Childress hens will cluck over the bombers being "white males" and further evidence of their evilness. The New York Times undoubtedly will call them "White Muslims." Hollywood and the Washington establishment will bemoan it as evidence of a "culture of violence" encouraged by the availability of guns.

No one among them will call for stricter immigration control lest they be called "racist," even as they describe the Islamists as "white."

  9. Chechens have been reported to be involved in armed conflicts as jihad fighters just about everywhere, including Afghanistan. It's time to get into who has been funding and training them all these years. Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the US, and other Western countries have all been accused by the Russians as being involved. Ilyas Akhmadov, wanted by the Russians, has asylum in the US. On the other hand, many Chechens have been mafia types with a very bad reputation. Generally they haven't been well liked by most other groups with whom they've had contact with.
The two suspects affected American style dress quite well, complete with baseball caps. The vast majority of people in the US would think they were Russian if they just went by the names since most wouldn't be able to discern the difference. They could have done well materially here, made some good money and gotten nice cars. Instead they reverted to form and decided they were Chechens first.

  10. When wanting to learn about these brothers' "experience", I'd be interested to know what lively intellectual journeys they took in the stimulating atmosphere of Cambridge-area classrooms.

  11. This looks like a cultural fusion of Islamic terrorism, national liberation terrorism, nihilist terrorism, and student/geek terrorism(like at Columbine and V-tech).

The strange thing is the 'brother' aspect.

Generally, we are used to loners acting alone or linking up with other loners. Ted Kazysinski was turned in by his brother.

But what are the odds of two nuts in the same family? Or is there a culture thing among Chechens where brothers are much closer?

Were the kids trying to hurt infidels or trying to frame this on the 'white right'. Odd that they chose patriot's day, which is why so many thought 'tea partiers' did it.
    An amateur false-flag operation?

  12. Prescient indeed. I don't think it's a coincidence this happened in Boston and not Detroit.

As their uncle said, these kids are losers. (Their mother got busted for shoplifting last year.) And they live near Cambridge/Harvard/MIT. It must have killed them to be near these prosperous, educated people. The Boston Marathon participants would have been the epitome of what they were not.

Young men have a need to feel a part of something. Especially when their's no father around. And, Boston has a certain exclusionary quality to it. (I'm sure some Harvard prof is going to apologize for this btw.)

Ironically, the ressentement these kids were feeling is the same motivation behind the invite the world movement.

A white man would turn in his brother. A Chechen would be aghast at the idea of turning in a distant cousin.

The air we breath was also a but for causal. The real "cause," however, will like turn out to be America's slaughter of Muslims over the past 10 years at least.

Maybe they felt a sense of injustice at what Zionist America has been doing to the Muslim people for the past 70 years.

I oppose immigration, but to put this situation more truthfully, no Americans and Israelis on Muslim soil, no 9/11 and no 4/15.

No, sorry, that's not more truthful. It's less truthful. You're preaching to the choir here, but keeping Muslims off our soil is an infinitely more effective way to prevent terrorism here than keeping Americans off Muslim soil. In fact your point about Israelis kinda makes my point; as if it's our job to keep them off anybody's soil.

Maybe. So do alot of people who didn't feel the need to blow up the Boston Marathon.

The reason they did what they did was based on resentment and the feelings of outsiderness. Loser immigrant children will all feel this to some degree. Winners might feel the opposite but there'll always be more losers than winners.
