Suspect No.2 in ten years? |
Sweden’s Closet Racists
By JONAS HASSEN KHEMIRI
Published: April 20, 2013
WELCOME to my body. Make yourself at home. From now on, we share skin, spine and nervous system. Here are our legs, which always want to run when we see a police car. Here are our hands, which always clench into fists when we hear politicians talk about the need for stronger borders, more internal ID checks, faster deportation of people without papers.
And these are our fingers, which recently wrote a very public letter to Sweden’s justice minister, Beatrice Ask, after she went on the radio to defend racial profiling of passengers on Stockholm’s subway.
On March 7, the minister told a nationwide audience: “One’s experience of ‘why someone has questioned me’ can of course be very subjective,” suggesting that racially profiled subway passengers were overreacting and that their anger was irrational. Without missing a beat, she continued, “There are some who have been previously convicted and feel that they are always questioned, even though you can’t tell by looking at a person that they have committed a crime.”
It was an interesting choice of words — “previously convicted.” Because that’s exactly what we are. All of us who are guilty until proved innocent. We Swedes who do not fit the outdated blond, blue-eyed stereotype of what a true Swede should look like. We whose personal experience makes us doubt our country’s international reputation of being a paradise, with equal opportunities for everyone.
We remember the shame and the slights.
Being 6 years old and walking toward passport control with Dad, who has sweaty hands, who clears his throat, who fixes his hair and shines up his shoes on the backs of his knees. All the pink-colored people are let by. But our dad is stopped. And we think, maybe it was by chance, until we see the same scene repeated year after year.
Being 7 and starting school and being told about society by a dad who was terrified even then that his outsiderness would be inherited by his children. He says, “When you look like we do, you must always be a thousand times better than everyone else if you don’t want to be refused.”
Being 8 and deciding to become the class’s most studious nerd, the world’s biggest brown-noser.
Being 9 and watching action films where dark men rape and kidnap, manipulate and lie, steal and abuse.
You mean like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo?
From there, the essays goes so forth and so on.
Wikipedia details all the hideous brutality and shunning this half-Tunisian half-Swede has endured at the hands of the Blond Brutes of northern Europe:
Khemiri's debut novel, Ett öga rött (One Eye Red), was published in 2003. It was met with positive reviews from critics, sold over 200,000 copies in Sweden and became the best-selling novel of any category in 2004.[2]
Khemiri's second novel, Montecore: en unik tiger (Montecore - A Unique Tiger), received Sveriges Radio's Novel Prize (Sveriges Radios Romanpris) for the best Swedish novel of 2007.[3][4]
Khemiri's first play, Invasion!, was written for the Stockholm City Theatre. It was chosen for the 2007 Swedish Theatre Biennial and has been performed in France, Germany, the UK and Norway.[5] Khemiri has also written the plays God Times Five for Riksteatern and We Who Are Hundred, which opened at Gothenburg City Theatre in 2009[3] and won the Hedda Award, Norway's top theatrical award, for the best play of 2010.[6]
Oh, wait, huh ... Well, what do you know? It turns out that Nordics can't get enough of this guy's dark Otherness, that he's an expert at pushing White Guilt buttons, that being half-Tunisian in Sweden is almost as great a gig for him as being half-black in America has been for the President.
Much preferable to be of any age and watch a movie where a girl with a dragon ass tattoo takes on the entire neo-nazi army.
ReplyDeleteWeird rubbish.
ReplyDelete“When you look like we do, you must always be a thousand times better than everyone else if you don’t want to be refused.”
ReplyDeleteA thousand times better? Still waiting for them to act 0.5 times as good.
I really don't know why people who don't fill they fit in would move to a horrible, awful, racist, oppressive country like Sweden. It must have been paradise where they came from, filled as it is with people a thousand times better. They should never have left.
The self absorbed sobbing can be ignored. What I find illuminating is the degree that "people of color" have confessed to me that the presence of pale or "pink people" upsets them. Why black or swarthy people are surprised, or unsettled by our characteristics while in our midst is a mystery. One wonders, how much of this feeling is out there?
ReplyDeleteHe's probably the most critically acclaimed author, largely because he's a verbally skilled immigrant, in Sweden right now, so I doubt he'll resort to terrorism.
ReplyDeleteHis list of complaints are, of course, complete bullshit.
"Being 9 and watching action films where dark men rape and kidnap, manipulate and lie, steal and abuse. "
ReplyDeleteOnly in films? Sheltered child. He should have thanked Swedes for having sheltered him in this way.
What wimpy drek, his style sounds like an NPR station. Father Tunisian and mother is Swedish.
ReplyDeleteSwedishSwede said: Being 9 and watching action films where dark men rape and kidnap, manipulate and lie, steal and abuse.
ReplyDeleteIs he sure he isn't recalling Bravo Sweden's hit show "The real housewives of Malmo?"
Using ethanol enhanced interrogation techniques, I once pressed a Swedish friend about his countrymen's reluctance to utter anything that might offend. His response, true to form, was terse and earnest. He said " Basically, we're a bunch of p*ssies."
I just can't imagine how hard it must have been for Mr. Khemiri to blossom into a such a sensitive, thoughtful young man while suffering in silence among such deceitful, chauvinistic, aggressive knuckle-draggers.

He's got the makings of of a top-drawer young, clueless Liberal American: self-pitying, narcissistic, disinclined or unable to entertain another's point of view.
ReplyDeleteLet's reach out and invite the lad here: when the coming Amnesty is underway, there'll be plenty of vacancies in the Shadows for the next wave of vibrant minorities to set up shop.
"Being 9 and watching action films where dark men rape and kidnap, manipulate and lie, steal and abuse. "
ReplyDeleteWhich action films has he been watching? Hasn't he heard of blond bad guys that make up most villains in movies?
He's got the makings of of a top-drawer young, clueless Liberal American: self-pitying, narcissistic, disinclined or unable to entertain another's point of view.
ReplyDeleteSounds remarkably like the life's story which Bill Ayers created for a young protégée, in a ghost-written autobiography called "Dreams From my Father".
"Here are our legs, which always want to run..."
ReplyDeleteA bit insensitive, in the light of recent events, wouldn't you say, Jonas?
"the outdated blond, blue-eyed stereotype of what a true Swede should look like"
ReplyDeleteIn other words, true Swedes.
Well, OK, some native Swedes have dark hair and brown eyes.
The real story is that the real Swedes are very naive and overly nice and have allowed a bunch of predatory parasites from benighted cultures to infest and ruin their otherwise great country.
"We Swedes who do not fit the outdated blond, blue-eyed stereotype of what a true Swede should look like."
ReplyDeleteAre blond/blue Swedes already not what true Swedes should look like? Yikes! Sounds like he nurses fantasies about genocide.
Don't Swedish politicos have a solid track record of getting assassinated by white domestics? Guns, knives, garden shears, whatever. IIRC there was one as recently as the Euro referendum. Not to suggest introducing psychotic Muslims could possibly ameliorate that...
ReplyDeleteOne could learn another lesson from this. If all these 'pink' countries are so intrinsically racist, is it really humane to let the poor wretched and blameless schlep ashore?
ReplyDeleteI spent a horror 6 months living in a Swedish village a number of years ago. I would be riding my bike, not a care in the world, and then I would hear the children. "Engelsk, Engelsk, Fotboll!" Those taunts still haunt me. How could they not know I am not English? That speaking English does not make one proficient in football? That we call it soccer? The stereotyping, the pain, the unprivilege.
The wimp said, "All the pink-colored people". Swedes are not pink. They are a more yellow or orange hue, they are not Celts.
It's never about "guilt"; it's actually about the feeling of power derived from believing that what YOU say about others, what you purportedly THINK about others, gives you power over their lives. Thus, any gains or improvements in their lives (or perceived gains or improvements in their lives) you expect to be viewed as YOUR accomplishment. IOWs, it's all a big ego trip.
ReplyDeleteIt remains easy to think this way, easy to ride your trip until reality smacks you upside the head in the person of those you are amazed to discover are yourenemy and who are not at all grateful to you for your righteous and magnanimous idiocy.
Delightful to see this jerk panned in this venue. This stupid essay was all the rage among my Swedish Facebook friends a couple weeks ago. One doesn't even get into it. Why bother?
ReplyDelete"The purpose behind the law against incitement of ethnic hatred was to ensure legal protection for minority groups of different compositions and followers of different religions. Cases where people express themselves in a critical or derogatory way about men of ethnic Swedish background were not intended to be included in this law. Because of that, the content in this article cannot be considered incitement of ethnic hatred."
ReplyDeletehttp://www.vdare.com/articles/can-it-happen-here-swedens-hate-speech-laws-hateful-and-unequally-enforced
many lulz were had.
If he stopped whining he would lose his lucrative gig as a professionally tortured outsider. So why would we expect him to do anything else?
ReplyDeleteGloria
"Families with children born here were deported to countries that the children had never been to. Everyone was “just doing their job.” The security guards, the police, the customs officials, the politicians, the people."
ReplyDeleteThen he subtly slips in the reductio ad hitlerum - "just doing their jobs" - in reference to enforcing the immigration laws. Sweden's responsible for these kids because their moms squeezed them out while the happened to be on Swedish soil. Nevermind that they were there illegally. The mere fact that their moms were on Swedish soil while they were going "hsh hsh hsh push!!!!" is enough to earn them the right to be part of the Swedish democracy, enough to earnt hem lifetime benefits from the taxpayers' wallets.
Who believes this shit? If my wife and I went to Italy and she happened to have our kid while we were there we sure as hell wouldn't think he would be entitled to Italian citizenship or that would give us the right to remain. And, for the record, illegal immigrants aren't stupid enough to believe that either. They're just playing a guilt trip on us, so they can get away with staying.
Is there any job sweeter than Professional Brown Person™? To be fawned over by those pink people, that's got to be the life.
ReplyDelete"You can't make this stuff up."
ReplyDeleteNYT can.
Khemiri is a known racist.
ReplyDeleteHe even admitted to a fellow muslim(who then became radicalized as an islamist, though non-violent one, and exposed him and other muslims as shams, according to him) that the reason he wrote his book is to "trick naive Swedes".
Well, Khemiri has found his nische. He's going to be a professional race-baiter.
Also, his embittered comments about "pink people" ought to serve a warning. But even more so, is that half-breeds are a risky move. Many of them turn against their white side later in life. It doesn't matter if they're half-black, half-arab or half-asian. Think about this you guys whenever going into a serious relationship with a non-white woman. Sure, hating yourself as a white person is common, but it isn't as common as we think(the loudest people in the room are the easiest to notice)
So you'll even go this far, Steve, to not even acknowledge that being a dark-skinned resident of Sweden might be pretty bad sometimes in the way he describes? That racial profiling, whatever its justification, is unpleasant for those being profiled, most of whom are innocent? You even say that the guy is a successful writer, as if that proves that it couldn't really have been as bad as he says.
ReplyDeleteNo, it's not hideous brutality, but it probably wasn't easy, either. You don't have to accept any political world view to acknowledge that experience.
I knew a mathematician who was a black Swedish citizen. He told me that when he was presented with a math award from the Swedish government, some high-ranking government official there (I forget who) was shocked when he saw he was black, was quite unfriendly, and said something critical about it not being presented to a real Swede. (Kind of a mini-Jesse Owens incident, the way I understood it.) So, what this writer's talking about is apparently real.
I'm not a bleeding-heart liberal. There's a tendency in political polemics to deny any bit of injustice in one's own position, even though every political policy involves some injustice. That's what it looks like to me here.
Sweden Girl,
ReplyDeleteKinda weird that the Swedish report you posted used footage from an American (or maybe Canadian) report. Is the Malmo situation something that Swedish language media won't touch?
Stateside, people often turn to foreign sources such as the Daily Mail or RT for stories too radioactive for the domestic prestige press. Where do the Swedes turn?
-The Judean People's Front
What a sick little punk.
ReplyDeleteSuch oppression!
As an upper middle-class private schooled white teenager with long hair in suburban NJ at the height of the drug war in the late 1980's the harassment I routinely got at the hands of bored, fat overpaid pigs was far worse than this little twerp suffered. 20 minutes in a police van without an apology?
Oh boo hoo hoo...
This belongs on the Onion. Or has it now merged with the NYT?
Aaron Gross,
ReplyDeleteThe best strategy for the promotion of grown up politics is neither the sort of balls out antagonism proposed by some of the angrier voices on the alt-right, nor the excruciatingly nuanced approach you seem to be advocating.
Steadfast, bemused mockery is the key. Chip away at the mountain of lies bit by bit with comedy. Why? Laughter is involuntary. You can't run from an uncomfortable truth that rises from your stomach.
When sane discussions can be had without fear of censure, career suicide, or social ostracism, we can afford nuance. When policies that acknowledge the basic truths of human nature can be realistically advanced, we can afford nuance. Until then, if you want to see things from Khemiri's perspective, just read the NYT.
-The Judean People's Front
Oh, my goodness, Aaron Gross!
ReplyDeleteSome unnamed high-ranking government official was quite unfriendly, and said something critical to your black friend! (According to the account of your black friend!)
Oooh! The horror, the horror!
Such pathological racism must be eliminated!
Waaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!
Rest assured this guy's schtick is getting him laid like crazy in Sweden, where the women are eager to prove they're not prejudiced. Remember the photo of Usain Bolt chilling with the Swedish women's handball team?
ReplyDeleteFamilies with children born here were deported to countries that the children had never been to.
ReplyDeleteI love it when open border types say this. If taking children to live in countries where they have never set foot before is bad, then we should agree to never allow such child abuse to happen again by not allowing immigrants to bring their foreign-born children into the USA, or Europe.

I have a Georgian-born friend who is quite Middle Eastern-looking. After 9/11, he's been profiled in the airports numerous times. His reaction: "I understand. Alas, there really isn't anything I can do about the way I look..."
Yes, it is unpleasant. But you probably know that thing about El Al's flights, right? Any objections on that front from you?
"Is there any job sweeter than Professional Brown Person™? To be fawned over by those pink people, that's got to be the life. "
ReplyDeletefeels good man!
Tunisian? With that skin tone and cheekbones ,utter lack of facial hair he looks more like a Nepali. He is part Swedish? like blonde Swedish or the aboriginal Lapp sort?I guess its blonde as if it were another minority, that would be a bonus and there is no way he wouldnt mention that.
ReplyDeleteAs a non white(Indian-711 not casino) I am so incredibly bored with all the immigrant stories and experiences....honestly they are all the bloody same...
there is a spanish proverb which goes "the first man who compared a woman to a flower was a poet ,the second man-fool"
the first stories about immigrants were intriguing and interesting (for that era Im sure)from an anthropological perspective but the succeeding ones are just tedious bores.
south Asian women especially really seem to create and dig this crap..girlfriend(s) that is really 1975..get with the program and drop it!
And they all have such stupid names- usually the name of an Indian food or condiment combined with some American place or food product
thus Mississipi Masala and Chutney Popcorn and a host of others.
I have a Georgian-born friend who is quite Middle Eastern-looking. After 9/11, he's been profiled in the airports numerous times. His reaction: "I understand. Alas, there really isn't anything I can do about the way I look..."

Oh boy..here we go...rudeness in a civil society is one , security concerns are quite another.
I as an Indian(often mistaken for Arab by dimwits) often undergo extra screening and the occasional question which others are not subjected to-but its really no issue for me as I am not a terrorist.
Profile away , I really couldnt give a damn
Sweden should never have become an immigrant destination in the first place, but the country decided to eliminate itself. And the Swedes are determined to grin and bear their elimination.
ReplyDeleteThe naivete (or malice) of the Swedish ruling class mirrors that of our own, and Sweden's media establishment (like ours) is complicit in the national annihilation project.
Our collective stupidity is mind-boggling.
@JDF, my point wasn't about politics so much as about denying reality. Lots of reality-denying at iSteve, and Sailer's post here is a good example. (Lots of reality-discerning at iSteve, too, which is why I read the blog!) I'm just suggesting that you don't have to deny reality; you can actually do better polemics by acknowledging it.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 9:35PM, You misread my comment. I'm not saying anyone should get upset about this stuff. I'm not even saying you should imagine yourself in anyone else's position. I'm just saying, to Sailer and to the commenters, that you're denying reality. You're trying to construct a virtual world of your own. Whatever the benefits of that, it leads to bad polemics.
@Anonymous 10:53PM, you're a retard. I've commented plenty over the years about ethnic profiling in America and Israel, and now Sweden. If you found some hypocrisy in what I've said, I'd actually very much like to hear it. Otherwise, stop showing the world what a moron you are.
@The Judean People's Front
ReplyDeleteIs the Malmo situation something that Swedish language media won't touch?
You nailed it.
A bright & vibrant future almost certainly awaits me.

There's a tendency in political polemics to deny any bit of injustice in one's own position, even though every political policy involves some injustice.
Except, of course, that there is no injustice worth mentioning in the story Aaron relates (even in the unlikely event that it happened). People are discriminated among based on their characteristics all the time. This goofy idea that this routine discrimination magically becomes an injustice when it's a white guy discriminating against a non-white on the basis of race or ethnicity is a mental tic of the post-war West. Nobody else ever heard of such nonsense, and there is no principled case to be made in favor of the idea.
No, it's not hideous brutality,
But the injustices perpetrated against Swedes by Khemiri's swarthy compatriots are hideous brutality. Hows come Aaron doesn't make his point by gesturing towards Khemiri's odd blindness to the fact that his people are such thuggish rapists?
It reminds me of the blogger Elezier Yudkowsky who goes on and on about how he doesn't like religion, but when reaching for examples mostly seems to come up with "Mary was a slut."
It's a hard question. Is the atavistic hatred of Christendom entirely subconscious, or do they know they're doing it?
When I was reading this complaint in the paper my first thought was why the Times thought it was worthy of publication, particularly at this time.
ReplyDeleteSo you'll even go this far, Steve, to not even acknowledge that being a dark-skinned resident of Sweden might be pretty bad sometimes in the way he describes?
ReplyDeleteI won't. If it were, we'd see a net outflow of dark-skinned persons from Sweden to points dark-skinned. Instead we see the opposite.
I knew a "pink" guy once who had his arms and legs hacked off, and his head hacked off and stuck on a pole, by blacks in Africa.
I'm not a bleeding-heart liberal. There's a tendency in political polemics to deny any bit of injustice in one's own position, even though every political policy involves some injustice. That's what it looks like to me here.
You're right; we should deport all the darkies from all western countries now, to save them from all the pain the "pinks" are sure to inflict upon them later.
Oh boy..here we go...rudeness in a civil society is one , security concerns are quite another.
Precisely. If we just started a war with our Amalek, we'd be righteous.
Aaron Gross,
ReplyDeleteAny injustices suffered by Tunisians in Sweden can easily be rectified with one simple action: repatriation. If Swedish society does not meet their expectations, they should return to whence they came. Immigrants, and especially refugees, have NO right to expect their host society to change to accommodate them.
Dr. Van Nostrand said: south Asian women especially really seem to create and dig this crap..girlfriend(s) that is really 1975..get with the program and drop it!
ReplyDeleteMy sympathies:-) Post-colonial chick lit is the absolute worst!!! Well, 90's style transgressive PoMo dyke fiction is pretty awful too, but it has less mass appeal.

Curiously absent from the extended body part metaphor is, "This is the anus that craps all over you for letting me and my ilk in your country."
ReplyDeleteAnd it ain't bleached pink, suckaz
@Aaron Gross: "...racial profiling, whatever its justification, is unpleasant for those being profiled, most of whom are innocent?"
ReplyDeleteNo doubt. But at whom should the victims of racial profiling direct their resentment? At their understandably nervous hosts? Or at those of their coethnics whose bad behavior has generated the negative stereotype under which they labor?
If Mr. Khemiri used his prominent position to try to talk some sense into his Arab &/or Muslim half-brothers, I could respect him. But instead he whines about the minor slights he suffers, apparently without ever thinking for a moment about the...ahem...root causes thereof. That's just contemptible.
Oh, and what's this nonsense about "watching action films where dark men rape and kidnap, manipulate and lie, steal and abuse?" I mean, is there some Swedish film industry, unknown to me, which, unlike Hollywood, represents crime in a statistically accurate way, instead of pinning everything on neo-nazis & white supremacists?
Or is he just lying through his teeth?
It's a way of getting women - guilt-tripping them over racism.
ReplyDeleteObviously it wouldn't work if the media told the truth about the rape jihad in bluecollar districts.
Bill,
ReplyDeleteYour critique of Aaron's response is reasonable but your attribution of "Hatred" is far fetched. While some of my coethnics indeed express "Atavistic hatred toward Christendom" it seems unfair to tar Mr. Gross with that brush. If I recall he is a longtime reader of the late Joseph Sobran, and at least to my knowledge he hasn't expressed much anti-Christian sentiment in the past or in his comment about Khemiri.
-The Judean People's Front

ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that half-breeds' delayed onset leukophobia mainly stems from the west's current incentive structure rather than of mixed ancestry per se. This is not to say that your advice is bad, as that incentive structure likely has some legs.
I am not a huge fan of large-scale mixing, but that has more to do with the desire to preserve unique population characteristics than with concerns about disloyal mixed offspring.
Coalitional affiliation is mutable and can be altered by framing and inducement. Hereditary traits are much less context dependent, and can be permanently altered or lost in the absence of proper human "husbandry".

@ Aaron Gross, again: "Lots of reality-denying at iSteve, and Sailer's post here is a good example."
ReplyDeleteReally? What particular reality does Sailer's post deny, and where? Can you quote the particular passage that bothers you?
So far as I can tell, Sailer nowhere denies that being a reasonably good guy from a disproportionately badly behaving group can be a tough row to hoe.
Aaron,
ReplyDelete"Reality denying"? Sure, I'll admit that the caution women exercise around someone who looks like every single rapist is less than wonderful for the Others in Sweden. Especially for the chunk, I don't know how large, of the Others who aren't rapists yet, and maybe never will rape anyone. It ain't worse than getting hate-crime raped for looking like a Swedish woman.
I urge the Others to read the Schrodinger's rapist piece on the web. Someone should translate it for sundries in Sweden.
I'd have more sympathy for the others who haven't raped anyone so far if they exhorted their fellows to desist rather than trying to whine and guilt-trip Swedish women into being more vulnerable to their co-ethnics. Inter-racial sexual violence can light a fuse really fast. The Other might save lots of lives.
An idea for the Other. He's a good writer, so maybe he could get it going: a DNA database of Others, mandatory for criminals, and voluntary for people who haven't been convicted of anything. That way, lots of potential suspects can be excluded quickly. Police can focus investigations on a) the guilty party whose DNA was on file or b) the few (right, very few?) Others who wanted anonymity to rape Swedish women or help rapists hide.
If the Other did that, then maybe he could whine that his fellows' behaviors make it harder to score Swedish poon.
How would Israelis react to Palestinians or Israeli Arabs raping Jewish women?
ReplyDeleteI'd have more sympathy for the others who haven't raped anyone so far if they exhorted their fellows to desist rather than trying to whine and guilt-trip Swedish women into being more vulnerable to their co-ethnics. THis is rather annoying among violent minorities, they commit rape, arson, robbery and terrorism and when the majority strikes as they in Australia and Sri Lanka ,they whine why are you hurting/stereotyping us? what did we EVER do to you?!! Please STFU
If the Other did that, then maybe he could whine that his fellows' behaviors make it harder to score Swedish poon. "
Im told that as a swarthy fellow,if you cant get laid in Sweden ,then just forget about it
How would Israelis react to Palestinians or Israeli Arabs raping Jewish women?"
They dont respond "disproportionately". There was recent spat of Bedouins raping Jewish women in response to an alleged rape of a Bedouin girl by Israeli 30 years which info had just resurfaced. They were tried and sentenced. There were no reprisal rapes of Palestinian or other Bedouin women.
There Arab pimps who sell Jewish prostitutes in Israel, vice versa though do exist, are rarer.
There was that one Arab guy who was convicted of rape as he impersonated a Jew to seduce another Jewish chick. Now that was disproportionate,he may be a liar and scoundrel but certainly not a rapist. The lady wasnt exactly an unwilling participant.
Precisely. If we just started a war with our Amalek, we'd be righteous."
A little birdie told me on another comments board - when I compared the Israels conquest of a land the size of New Jersey to the Anglos conquest of entire continents "thats how things were done then, not now"
....well Amalek was also "then"....funny with you how Israeli(te)s are never justified in their actions,no matter what the century!
That's the PROBLEM!!! We, as a culture, are intolerant of their seduction techniques!
ReplyDeleteA little birdie told me on another comments board - when I compared the Israels conquest of a land the size of New Jersey to the Anglos conquest of entire continents "thats how things were done then, not now"
ReplyDelete....well Amalek was also "then"....funny with you how Israeli(te)s are never justified in their actions,no matter what the century!
"Amalek" was a way of saying "Palestinians," while pointing out that wars of extermination are in the Jewish character. And I didn't say anything about the Israelis not being justified. And if I ever have, it was only in the context of criticizing Jewry's hypocrisy. Do try and keep up; at the moment, you're not following the argument. At all.
ReplyDelete"Amalek" was a way of saying "Palestinians," "
And how the bleep am I supposed to know that? Knowing you it would be pretty safe to assume that you have issues with Israelites behaviour 3000 years ago as well.
while pointing out that wars of extermination are in the Jewish character.
How many wars of extermination have Jews carried out since the Amalekites and the Canaanites?
Sorry the HOlodomor doesnt count.
You do realize wars of extermination werent exactly unknown amongst other Middle Eastern people or even your oh so morally superior Europeans.
What was that said about Rome "They created a desert and called it peace"
And I didn't say anything about the Israelis not being justified. And if I ever have, it was only in the context of criticizing Jewry's hypocrisy."
WHICH Jewry? Whether you prefer to realize it or not there are "jewry" at odds with one another all the time....neturei karta and leftist Jews loathe Israel and Likudniks prefer that the former drop dead.
Do try and keep up; at the moment, you're not following the argument. At all.
I suppose when you have pretty much the same argument all the time and frame it differently just to throw off the scent, you cant really blame others for not following.
Found this blog through some other search but noticed this post. As a Swede I've read Hassan Khemiri's stupid article, been fascinated by the massive positive response by all sections of the media/politicians from seven out of eight parties in parliament and finally resigned myself to hoping there would be outrage about something else to bury this.
ReplyDeleteLuckily it seems the readers of this blog are smarter than I feared.
To sum up the Swedish situation crudely: MENA(Middle East North Africa) as a whole are committing a lot of crimes, live on welfare and are generally unpleasant even when they are in service jobs or even in middle class surroundings. Not unlike how I find American Blacks btw. There are some middle class people among the MENA but IME I never click with them. Either they have a hard time admitting their own mistakes how insignificant they may be or they have a attitude or something similar.
As you can imagine I don't feel sorry for Mr. Hassen Khemiri. His exaggerated story, which is likely to be created with a whole lot of creative freedom as well as being an amalgamation of several people's experiences, is basically the latest short story from an author.
A taxi driver was murdered recently in Stockholm. My Arab colleague asked if it was Swedes who killed an immigrant driver. The implicit understanding that it would be like always. This guy, and hipsters and women around the table, has no clue the real situation is the exact opposite. Well, this Arab probably knows deep down but the Swedes? No f*****g way!
" Basically, we're a bunch of p*ssies."
