National Immigration Safety Board needed

Cops standing around flattened baby carriage: not a good sign
NBC 10 Philadelphia reports on a streetrace that killed four pedestrians:
When police led Khusen Akhmedov, shirtless, out of his home in Lancaster on Wednesday, neighbors didn't know he was about to be charged with killing a young mother and three of her children.
They did know that Akhmedov's car looked like it had been in an accident.
The same car he boasts about on his Facebook page, an Audi S4, is the car Philadelphia police say was speeding down Roosevelt Boulevard when it raced right into Samara Banks, who was crossing the busy highway with four of her children. Only one survived.
Court records in Pennsylvania show Akhmedov has nine driving infractions dating back to 2009. ...
Witnesses told police Akhmedov was speeding on the night of the crash. He and Ahmen Holloman were allegedly racing down the Boulevard when, according to police, Akhmedov lost control of his car, plowing into Samara Banks as she was crossing the street in the Feltonville section of the city with her kids. Banks, 28, died and so did her three youngest children, ages 7 months, 23 months and four years old. Her 5-year-old son survived with bumps and bruises.
On Akhmedov’s Facebook page, one of the videos posted is of a profanity-laced scene where two cars are seen drag racing on a deserted road. ...
There are also dozens of photos, including pictures of Akhmedov posing with the Rocky statue

Of course.
, a photo of him with EMTs, posing in front of a fire truck and another photo of him sitting on top of his Audi with a Philadelphia Police sticker visible on the trunk.
His neighbors on Queen Street in Lancaster assumed that because of the police sticker, Akhmedov worked for law enforcement. That is a stretch from the reality of his day-to-day life, where he faces trial in a federal fraud and conspiracy.
On his Facebook page, Akhmedov says that he earned a Criminal Law degree from Penn State. According to Penn State spokeswoman Betty Roberts, Khusen A. Akhmedov did attend Penn State for one school year -- from the Fall of 2008 through the Spring semester of 2009 -- but the school has no record of him graduating.

This just proves we must pass the DREAM Act.
Akhmedovv also mentions that he speaks Russian and Turkish. A friend of the family, who did not want to be named, said Akmedov came to the Lancaster area with his parents in the early 2000s. They chose that area because it has a growing community of Russian immigrants, according to the family friend.
Akhmedov is accused, along with six other people, of billing the government for millions of dollars in private ambulance runs that were not necessary. Akhmedov was an EMT for the company, according to the federal indictment.

From Lancaster Online:
Akhmedov moved from Russia to Lancaster with his family almost 10 years ago, and they are now citizens. He is a graduate of McCaskey High School and was planning to marry soon.
Akhmedov's family are ethnic Meskhetian Turks, a group that has been persecuted for decades.

Meskhetian Turks were residents of Soviet Georgia. The Soviet Union was a finishing school for organized crime and disorganized living, especially in its Caucasus regions.

So, why was the Akhmedov family allowed into the U.S.? Is being a crooked meathead a job Americans just won't do? Was there a Streetracer Shortage? Were patients who didn't actually need ambulance rides to get to their dialysis appointments rotting in the fields? Was it Akhmedov's American Dream to not only play but live Grand Theft Auto? Did the Akhmedovs claim that a lot of people back home really hated them?

Perhaps those folks who knew them had their reasons.

  6. Ok, now how long will it take before Al Sharpton and the community agitate that this racist white russian dude be given life in prison at the very least?

Ironically, this is a case where the community could win and appear to be pro-American and anti-immigration crime element at the same time. A win win situation if it were pursued in the right manner.

Wonder how long before Sharpton gets on the case and decides to make it about race? And that this white Russian should be behind bars?

    Anyone? How long?

Oh, they're very much opposed to it. The only problem is that the Democratic Party and the black politicians elected from that party don't care, which pretty much eliminates any chance of those voices being heard.

It's not on their radar. It doesnt directly effect them in any tangible way that they can see, so it doesnt exist as a major issue.

  10. During the 90' Balkans interventions ,people from Kosovo or Serbia could claim that they were in immediate danger for their life and get to immigrate to say Canada or US,UK and so forth. I know for a fact that there was a black market for fake IDs from Kosovo or Serbia at the time . One could just pick one of these ,usually a birth certificate since you could claim that the passport was taken from you , and seek asylum with a foreign country . You didn't need to be from a danger zone to end up in US or Canada as a political immigrant. All you needed to do, was claim you were from Kosovo or Serbia, here is my only existing ID , my family is dead or in immediate danger ,save me.

Once I went to a fastfood shop and the owner asked where was I from. Then he says ,great I have this guy who works for me and he's from the same place you are and I should talk to him.The guy comes over and I say hello . Immediately I realized he was not from where I was nor he spoke any of the language I was . It was a painful moment but I couldn't believe he could get away with it

  14. If there's one thing I really despise about America these days it's the way that citizenship has been cheapened to the point where it's practically meaningless. I mean, they hand it out in large numbers to all kinds of flotsam and scum.

Here's an exercise: If you have not been abroad for a while -- or have never been abroad (well more than half the population does not have a passport) -- then go. And when you come back, take a look at who's in the 'US Citizens and Green Card Holders' line with you at immigration control. Every time I do so, I'm aghast.

Unless I just raced through the article like a Caucasian it didn't mention anywhere whether Banks was ferrying her brood, at night, near an intersection or designated crosswalk; the exasperation of the interviewed commish hints they weren't. I'm sure Truth can explain for us how jaywalking laws constitute both an oppressive gesture and a frivolous bureaucratic fetish of the white power structure.

  24. Georgia is a separate country and is considered a US Ally. There are a lot of reports that say the US was supporting "rebel" training camps in Georgia before, during and after the two Chechen wars (which pre-date 911).

The North Caucasus has a long tradition of lawlessness, in parts of Georgia (which is predominately Orthodox) and in other areas such as Dagestan and Chechnya, which are predominately Muslim. That's apparently why Russians frequently call people from the Caucasus "bandits."

Currently within Russia, there is serious ethnic strife between "Caucasians" and Slavic Russians. At the same time, the US foreign policy establishment believes that this area of the world is of strategic significance in its new silk road.

Think any of this may be related to recent event in Boston?

Criminals from the Caucasus have a fearsome reputation, but are often distinct from, and in competition with, ethnic Russian organized crime groups.

I can't begine to guess why Akhmedov was let into the US -- but it is probably best to remember that he is not from Russia, and not of Russian descent.

Visiting the US now thru Atlanta. Standing in that line was a positive experience - a bracingly old-fashioned-America experience. The overwhelming majority of people in that long, snaking line was tall, courtly whites. There was a sprinkling of silent Asians. Cheerful black employees sprinted up and down the line, keeping it moving and, like humorous drill sergeants, calling out the dingbats who didn't follow simple instructions. Not only didn't I pick up any racial, ethnic, or other tensions, but I also failed to see hordes of poor Mexicans or Somalis yearning to breathe free.

  32. More:

In the unrelated ambulance-fraud case, federal authorities accuse Akhmedov and six others of recruiting non-emergency patients for trips in substandard ambulances, defrauding Medicare of $3.6 million. He was released on $100,000 bail after the April indictment, which described him as an emergency medical technician.

"Akhmedov transported ambulatory patients, delivered kickback payments to patients and falsified `trip sheets' related patient transport" from April 2011 to June 2012," the indictment charged.

The defendants pleaded not guilty and were set for trial next year. Prosecutors did not oppose bail for Akhmedov, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen. He was required to surrender his passport and any weapons, and to live at the residence he shares with his wife.

She does not have a listed phone number and could not be reached for comment Thursday.

Banks and her sons were struck as they crossed Roosevelt Boulevard at a point with grassy medians dividing the traffic lanes, but no crosswalk or traffic light. The suspects' cars were also cresting a short hill before the crash. The boys who died were ages 7 months, 23 months and 4 years old.

  33. I had the great pleasure of having dinner in NY a few weeks ago with a new winner of the green-card lottery: an Iranian physician from Shiraz who is a former member of the Revolutionary Guard. He mentioned that another member of the family had also been a lucky winner.

I find it amazing that the U.S. government accepts applications from Iranians. Aside from the commonsensical ideological differences, we have no diplomatic relations with Iran and therefore no background information from them could ever be checked officially. Boggles the mind. . .

Yes, people tend to focus on violent crime but the biggest shift that comes with diversity and what is ultimately far more likely to bring it all crashing down is the massive increase in fraud and corruption.

Anon 3:40, so what you're expressing is some special horror at the Soviet speed racer, maybe also Holloman, for killing this woman plus 4, which would be more manageable for you if she'd merely instead endangered her children's lives to the hundreds of other cars on the busy street. Here is the E. Roosevelt Blvd. median 'crosswalk' (not marked on the road, no lights) which she crossed from the north side at ~10:30pm. You'll agree that's a perfect common-sense place to traverse 12 lanes and two medians, especially with children under the age of 8 in tow. They weren't struck on the sidewalk. A bus stop stands 200' from there if she didn't feel like rolling the dice, unless service had already ended by that point in the night. Zig-zagging through traffic is considered foolhardy regardless of the quality of motorists on your local thoroughfare.

In fact, not only should we not have an NISB, we should reform the very NTSB that inspired your xenophobic proposal.

Herewith a new, more properly American charter for the NTSB:

Huge Hispanic fraud rings in the Miami area. So huge there is speculation they got trained in Cuba how to pull it off. Some have absconded to Cuba to avoid US prison. Medicaid billing fraud often involves Muslims from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh. Sometimes Koreans and Arabs. It hard to find regular ol' Americans involved. It seems to me that 80%+ of Medicaid fraud is done by immigrants.

Immigrants have an advantage here...They can flee back to their homeland and enjoy they loot they put into a bank account in India (for example)

  45. As sympathetic as I am to your position on immigration, you really can't just keep on cherry-picking cases of immigrant criminality to make your case. Your opponents will simply argue the these are merely rare exceptions to an overall low immigrant crime rate, and anyone who isn't already in your camp is likely to believe them.

OTOH, if you can demonstrate that this sort of thing is significantly more common -- not just slightly, but significantly! -- in the Russian immigrant community than among native whites, then you have made a case that any intellectually honest reader should feel bound to respect.

Our opponents won't argue anything, because (with rare exceptions) they do not engage in argument. They indoctrinate, intimidate, and incentivize.

Moreover, almost everyone opposes this sort of mass immigration anyway; they just get distracted by more immediate concerns. The point is not to win converts; it's to keep the people on our side focused on the problem.
