Not that I was drinking that crap anyway.

Yep. Though, in fairness the rest of Peyton's team not playing too well either.

What about Cheerios? What about Cheerios?

He's not just regressing to the mean, he's regressing clear to the other side of it.

Amen.

Seattle is up 29-0 now mid way through the 3rd quarter and their QB has thrown for 94 yards so far.

I don't watch much football, but Peyton Manning - this is one of the great quarterbacks of all time?

How easy was the Broncos' schedule this year?

What was up with the Coke ad? Were there any white people in it? (I didn't see all of it.)

Prepare to be bombarded with stories about black quarterback winning Super Bowl, somehow overcoming racism or something and how there aren't enough black qbs, how black qbs are revolutionizing the NFL, how there aren't enough black coaches and GMs, etc...

There were two white guys, the dorky kid with the afro and the man mowing the grass.

That's the future buddy boy, and you'd best embrace it!

Seriously, that may be the most offensive television commercial ever. And all the SWPLs are splooshing over it.

A black QB has already won, compliments of the Broncos in Super Bowl 22. So maybe that's the ticket. Put up a black QB against the Broncos in the Super Bowl.

"the dorky kid with the afro"

LOL! Of course one of the two white people would be a dork with an afro!

Awww. The Budweiser ad was great!!! What a great ad!

Kudos Steve.

Seriously, I wonder what goes through the minds of the people responsible for a commercial like that? What are they thinking? What's the motivation?

It's fascinating to me. Some people are fascinated by the minds of serial killers, I'm fascinated by the minds of multi-culti propagandists. Who are, pretty much, serial killers too.

He, for one, welcomes his new black and brown overlords.

The latest multicultural Coke ad, airing in a few years:

"I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony."

[record scratch sound]

"Well, except for those icky pale white people. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!"

Manning in first two playoff games of 2014, averaged out per game:

28.5/39.5, 315, 2/0.5, 107.0

Manning in SB:

34/49, 280, 1/2, 73.5

Manning in 2013-2014 regular season, averaged out per game:

28.1/48.2, 342.3, 3.44/0.63, 115.1

So Manning in the first two playoff games was under Manning's regular season mean. If there was any regression, you would have thought it would have been progression above his regular season mean.

Anon 6:44, Doug Williams already won a SB (and in a similarly crushing manner)

I admit I was drinking while watching the SB (gasp) and basically tuned out by the 4th quarter. So, I might have missed the details.

I understand that Manning made the most completed passes in SB history. The ones I saw were mostly very short passes where he depended on the receiver to run for yards. Then there was the pick-6 and another interception which led to a Seattle TD.

His teammates, except for Thomas, were bad, but I think in this game the final score is a better reflection of Manning's performance than his individual stats.

Agree with you countenance. I was going to make that point in the other thread. Manning didn't actually play that well in the Playoffs. Yeah, he had 400 yards against NE, but 26 points is a pretty sorry total for a team that only had to punt once the entire game and suffered no turnovers. Manning overthrew a wide open guy in the end zone that game and had at least one pass that should have been easily picked off. His play against NE was a drop off compared to the regular season and when you factor how much better Seattle's defense is than the injury depleted mess the Patriots were, I'm not sure you can say he played any worse today than he did two weeks ago.

"Twitter weighs in: @aland: If the #fuckcoke tag tells us anything, it’s that Coke failed to woo the coveted racist white trash demographic."

I'm not knowledgeable of twitter at all, but, from what I can see, the hashtag 'fuckcoke' is predominately SWPLs expressing outrage.

My bad. I watched the wrong commercial. This years coke commercial is a montage of the new America. It's not white. The only whites were a family in a 4wd (those damn polluters!) and 2 jews in kippahs.

Thankfully, we will only have to suffer this another 30 years or so. The country will collapse by around 2050.

This is one of the major reasons Manning chose the AFC West. Plus he got 4 games against the putrid NFC East defenses.
