An Open Borders logo / doormat

Harry Baldwin's suggestion for the Open Borders Movement's logo contest.

  1. The best open borders motto I've heard is "Welcome, useless immigrants. Tell your friends about our country!"

  2. This one is a bit confusing. It could be improved by embedding the labeled image of the US into a rectangle of similar texture but a different color, which would make it clear that you are looking at a doormat.

  6. How 'bout Courtney Love's wonderful lyrics from Violet (Live Through This [Geffen Records, 1994])

"Go on--take everything, take everything, I want you to."

  9. Goatse would probably be the best logo for this.

  10. The state data in the report identify where there are concentrations of residents who speak other than English at home. California tops the list at 43.8 percent, followed by New Mexico (36.5%), Texas (34.7%), New Jersey (30.4%), New York (30.1%), Nevada (29.7%), and Arizona (27%).
Not all open borders since some are Asian languages and some Latinos are legal or status is changed to legal. New Mexico not many foreign born but Mexicans in New Mexico still know their spanish. About have of illegals come on Vista and they become expired, Si.

  11. Multicultural nation. Comes in all flavors.

Btw, I haven't seen the term 'multicultural' in the news in a long time. Did it go out of favor? Why? Priority of Homo agenda + the fact that most non-white cultures oppose the homo agenda?

  13. The strange thing about Bryan Caplan is that some of his writings have actually convinced me of the need for more immigration restriction.

  14. Another clever one from that Facebook page (I knew Facebook would be good for something someday):

This one symbolizes all the wonderful global diversity that would accrue from open borders

Submitted by another "troll", obviously. Too bad I don't know how to embed it.

  16. actually, thinking about it using a perfectly clean doormat as your symbol for open borders is more of an indictment than an endorsement. its an implicit admission the new residents never bothered to scuff their boots before coming indoors.

  17. mat's all brown how appropriate, so it should say "abierto"

  18. With a different flag, this logo would be ideal for Greece, as Greece literally is being used as a doormat for immigrants trying to get into richer EU countries.

It's not ideal for the US, as the US is a destination rather than a transit point.

Other countries it might suit include Mexico, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Hungary and New Zealand
