Panhandling

I've written some pretty good stuff lately, so I figured this would be a good time to hit you all up for money.

I want to thank everybody who contributed last year (and guilt-trip everybody who didn't).

There are three ways to give me money.

You can make tax deductible credit card contributions to me here (then, under "Steve Sailer Project Option" click on the "Make a Donation" button); or fax credit card details here (please put "Steve Sailer Project" on the fax); or you can snail mail checks made out to "VDARE Foundation" and marked on the memo line (lower left corner) “Steve Sailer” to:

VDARE Foundation
P.O. Box 211
Litchfield, CT 06759

Second: You can send me an email and I'll send you my P.O. Box address.

Third: You can use Paypal to send me money directly, either by just using any credit card or if you have a specific Paypal account.

If you want to use your credit card, click "Continue" on the lower center-left to fill in your credit card info. If you have a Paypal account fill in your Paypal ID and password on the lower right of the screen.

Thanks. I appreciate it, deeply.

Wish I could help you, guy. If and when I get a job again, I'll send some money your way.

Instead of panhandling, why not become an affiliate of a product that you think your readers will be interested in buying anyway? That way they get something they want and you get paid. It's the best of both worlds.

You really have been on fire lately, as some have noted. We're just so damned happy to have a joint to hang out in and talk HBD stuff that we sometimes forget to mention your research and writing are top shelf. Haven't said this in a while,

*ahem*

SAILER IS GOD!

You're so money and you don't even know it.

"They get something they want and you get paid."

Steve is already giving us something we want, that is kinda the point of asking for money straight up. He knows he is providing the value, all he is doing is telling us to return the favor.

Telling Steve to join the man is telling him to stop doing everything that makes us read him in the first place. Shut up and let us help a brother out.

Responding to second anonymous:

There's nothing intrinsically (or morally) wrong with being wholly or partly dependent on an income stream from advertisers. But there are some complications which, in my own estimation, make Steve's the better choice, as long as it "works."

I'll not go into the variety (or nuances) here except to mention the single one I believe to be first and overriding all others: it eliminates the potential for "conflict of interest," not only in appearance to the consuming
public but, even more importantly, in the psyche of the blogger himself. On net, if it (advertising) can be avoided, I believe it should be.

Good idea. You might want to make reading lists ('best of' of selected topics, recent stuff) and become an amazon partner with a clickable menu on the right. These lists will come in handy for your readers anyway. Mail me for technical help if needed.

ok ok, I just complied; modestly, for now--bear with me.

How about us lazy guys using Amazon?

You ought to open a web-shop at Cafe Press or another related website - sell Sailersphere t-shirts, coffee mugs, buttons, magnets, and so on.

Also, you should go through many of your old posts and essays here and elsewhere, pick out some of the best, and create books or anthologies of them that people can buy (or else you give to them for making a specified donation); tentative titles might include: Volume I (Early Years); Volume II (Finding a Voice); Volume III (The Spread of HBD); etc etc
