Turkey or Free Kurdistan?

Most of the neo-conservative punditariat now seems favor the Northern Route to attack Iraq. Some want to do it in alliance with the neighboring Turks, some with the Iraqi Kurds. Few seem to notice that the Turks and the Kurds probably hate each other even more than they hate Saddam. The last thing Turkey wants is an oil-rich Kurdish nation-state in arms upset over the Turks stomping on their Kurdish cousins in southeastern Turkey. So, which one do we choose?
